Edward Furness-Smith

Edward graduated from Durham University with a master’s degree in theology before beginning his career at PwC on their graduate scheme as an accountant. Following this, he moved into investment management in 2006, training at Brown Shipley, where he obtained his investment qualifications and ultimately became a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute. He then spent eight years at WH Ireland growing the discretionary side of the private client business and a further five years in the same role at JM Finn. Edward specialises in managing private client assets across personal portfolios, ISAs, Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs) and trusts. Edward joined Raymond James, London Citypoint in October 2022, where he was reunited with a number of former colleagues from JM Finn, including Harry Burnham. His latest move has seen him take a consulting role with Raymond James, London CityPoint.

Edward, his family and their dogs live in Oxfordshire, where they enjoy country pursuits, gardening (time permitting) and, if particularly lucky, some cricket.
